3070ti Ultra, 2k DLSS on, RTX on, 30 fps, joke
Ok, this is a joke
I played with rtx and dlss on release with 2070s on 2k resolution with like 45-60fps
Now I got my card upgraded, game had been patched for 3years
Aaaaand perfomance went worse? Rly?

1080p With RTX off and everything else on high i'm getting 60-70 fps in the nomad part. 8gb of RAM, i5 6600, GTX 1070. Though my computer is well optimised.

On thing to validate is that CP is actually using DLSS rather than FSR. I installed 2.0 on my laptop today w/ 3070Ti mobile/12900H & noticed the non-RT presets all had DLSS off but FSR 2.1 & XeSS enabled (???).

CP 2.0 w/ Nvidia 537.42 driver is pushing 71.12 FPS average, 49.49 FPS min @ 2560x1440 in the benchmark w/ the High preset, no RT, & DLSS to auto w/ FSR & XeSS turned off for me. Ultra seems too much for the 8GB VRAM to handle, RT also wasn't worth the hit for the small (honestly almost imperceptible) improvement in reflections on the 17" screen. After running through the benchmark a couple times on just about the full gamut of presets (tweaked to make sure it was actually using DLSS for dynamic scaling when I wanted it) I think this might be where I'll leave the settings for this laptop for best compromise between graphical quality & smooth framerates myself.

Runs pretty great on RT OD preset or RT Ultra w/ DLSS off @ 3440x1440 on my main gaming box w/ a 4090 & 7800X3D, but it damn well outta...

Again my suggestions (if you wanna play 1440p) is to either put RT off or lower settings down to high (even medium)
On release I got 2070s and on same settings WITH rt and dlss got higher fps (do you even read?)

Now on SAME settings and 3070ti (which is I GUESS better than 2070s) I have lower FPS
So...yeah, not perfomance issue at all

I have a 3070Ti and I have around 90 FPS constantly turn RT off its crap away.

Check your GPU and CPU usage in task manager. It's possible you're CPU bound. If GPU is not at or near 100% usage that's your problem. If CPU is at 100% you're bottle-necked there. If it's around 50% it's possibly due to the bad SMT code.

If you're on an AMD CPU, change Settings -> Gameplay -> AMD SMT from Auto to On.

RTX 4080 with 32gig ram at 1440p Raytracing overdrive and I am seeing over 100fps constantly.
Sons playing on 3080ti at 4k sees 60fps constant.
CPUs in both are 13900K sitting at 40% usage.

the If you're on an AMD CPU, change Settings -> Gameplay -> AMD SMT from Auto to On. what does that do for cpu. i havea 5950x my cpu is ok but i wanna know what this does

Uses all your cores. Out of the box AMD CPU's use SMT. This is why you see things like 8C/16T (8 core 16 thread). Because there are two logical cores per physical core.

Cyberpunk has long had an issue using all cores when AMD SMT is on. That's why they added the setting and improved this in 2.0.

An easy example can be seen in Task Manager. Bring up the performance tab, click on CPU and look at "Cores" and "Logical Processors".

In your case, you should see 16 cores 32 logical processors. That means SMT is on and the setting should be on as well. If both say 16 then SMT is off and the setting should be off.

Put screen space reflection to high instead of ultra that setting alone is eating like 30 FPS when you go from high to ultra.

I'm on about 10 to 18 fps after about 5 mins of playing, 9900k/2080ti which at least had playable fps before... lowering settings makes no difference. Glad I didn't pre-purchase Phantom Liberty at least.

I have an i7-13700F, RTX4070ti, 32GB RAM configuration, and before applying patch 2.0, I was keeping V-Sync 60fps at WQHD with path tracing ON, all ULTRA settings, DLSS quality priority + frame generation ON, but after applying patch 2.0 and latest drivers After applying the patch 2.0 and the latest driver, the fps dropped to 20-30 fps (sometimes 10 fps). (At times, it drops to 10fps!!!). I wonder if this is a bug, since turning off ray tracing does not improve it?
(I forgot to add that I'm using the GOG version, not the Steam version.)

Edit:
NVIDIA driver update game ready for CP2077 didn't fix the problem or being more precise i had lot of stuttering and drops to 20 fps before drivers update and my first impression hasn't been very good
I've got a RTX 3090 as well, I can run the game on ultra settings, ultra raytracing, DLSS set to quality and 2560x1440p res. I get around 70 - 80fps everywhere
After patch 2.0*

Just tested myself:

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D
1440p
DLSS set to quality
Everything set to high or ultra, but none of the bells and whistles are turned on, no RT.

Benchmark has it at an average 85.2 FPS.

Actual gameplay has it being 80-90 when things are calm with some dips into the 70s when ♥♥♥♥ really hits the fan.

My new CPU was a recent splurge, I am extremely happy with it.

You're either from the future or you have a 7900x3D ^^

That CPU is a beast though. Slightly jealous. Enjoy.
