3070ti Ultra, 2k DLSS on, RTX on, 30 fps, joke
Ok, this is a joke
I played with rtx and dlss on release with 2070s on 2k resolution with like 45-60fps
Now I got my card upgraded, game had been patched for 3years
Aaaaand perfomance went worse? Rly?

It's not a joke on my 3090 i got your same problem, RT to insane, 2k resolution and DLSS quality, i had mostly 80 fps before the patch and now i struggle to 40-44.

Edit:
NVIDIA driver update game ready for CP2077 didn't fix the problem or being more precise i had lot of stuttering and drops to 20 fps before drivers update and my first impression hasn't been very good

Bottom of the patch notes said the game now requires an SSD to run.

Imagine that, you turn on Ray Tracing and you only get 20% of the expected frame rate. Who would have thought.

On a 3090?

mine it's installed on an SSD, in 2023 i'm sure just a few guys are still using HDDs
On my PC i have 2 NVME m2 disks 2 terabyte each and an R9 5950X with 64 gigs of RAM

Sounds like a bug. My fps increased quite a bit tbh, from 60-65 fps on PT to 80. All at 2k with DLSS quality and ultra settings on a 4080 mobile.

I recommend resetting RTX and DLSS. Looking into mods could also be worthwhile, they might not be updated and could interfere.

RTX4070 leaving the apartment Vi, settings are all maximum DLSS Quality, frame generation on... FullHD resolution... 55 frames... seriously? Before this patch, my performance in 4k with DLSS performance mode + ray tracing max settings was consistently more than 60 in this location. By the way, the choice of the type of RT rays has no effect... it's kind of a shame

Try lowering your settings to a mixture of high/very high instead.
8gb vram? if so you should not be playing with RT on ultra and 1440p.
Your GPU is one of the most ineffective high mid tier GPU´s I have seen in a long long long time (many generations)

Again my suggestions (if you wanna play 1440p) is to either put RT off or lower settings down to high (even medium)

Alternatively, you can put on film grain and motion blur, to get more fluidity (on low fps)
