Settings for 4090 /4K
Hi,

I'm a bit lost with the new settings. What should I enable / not enable?
I'm gaming at 4k with a 4090 / 1370K

Bit confused with the new RTX settings / DLAA etc.. What would be the ideal combo?

Thanks

There are a few posts in here that can help you, just search past the first page.

Start with quick preset @ raytracing overdrive. This will do most of it for you.
I am running a 4070ti on this and it looks great. Don't forget to install latest drivers for it to work.

Starfield makes cyberpunk look like a great game. Oh man..am I disappointed with starfield and it is relatively bug free (at least they figured that part out). But wow- it is so boring. Anyways, I am about 2/3 of the way through cyber2077 and I am struggling with it- the story- it isn't holding my interest. I bring this up because I heard that the dlc is great but that you have to start the game over. There is no way I am going to buy this dlc (even though I have the money ready to purchase) when I heard I have to go through the entire first half to play the dlc. Is there confirmation that you actually have to restart the main story to play the dlc?

I find it funny that in gta v you can air travel but in a cyber/space game of the future there is no flying vehicle you can actually operate (wasn't gta released in 2012 or something like that?)..lord.

Honestly I think you may be due for an upgrade. I talked to my friend Todd and he usually steers me the right way when it comes to financial advice.

Some salty comments here, don't feel obliged to answer if it's to say crap.

Can i have proper answer for DLAA for instance,

Is it possible to enable the setting, test it out, and then if it looks worse or performs worse, you can revert the setting back off?

Is that a novel concept or something?

Hey Asryan

DLAA is an AI driven Anti-Aliasing. If your running native resolution you can use this.

If your planning on running path tracing I recommend running DLSS @ Quality with Ray Reconstruction.

Make sure your drivers are updated to the latest version and you have "hardware accelerated GPU scheduling" enable in your windows graphics settings if your using frame generation.

Hope that answers your question.

Just use Geforce Experience to optimize your game. Playing on a 3090 @ 5k and that's pretty much what I do with every game and tweak the settings as needed.

Op asked a legitimate question and some of you are just plain rude, take your toxic attitudes elsewhere.

This has zero to do with OP's post. :pointless:

Max out all graphical settings, disable motion blur, set DLSS to balanced or performance(if performance looks the same use that) ray reconstruct on, Path tracing on, and you're gtg. (I myself am running a 4090, 7950x3d at 3440x1440 on my AW3423DW.
