A sound issue
When i played a game a year ago it had almost no problems. But after i installed it again on this week i started to notice weird crackling sound. I tried to google it, and tried literally everything i managed to find but nothing of it didn't help me

I found this on reddit and solved my problem by Ilindrael (u/Ilindrael)

''For anyone that doesn't want to do a clean install, a few additional options to consider to clean up files left behind by mods:

From your Cyberpunk game directory:

Delete `archive/pc/mod` directory.

Delete `bin/x64/plugins` directory.

Delete `mods` directory.

Delete `red4ext/plugins` directory.

Delete `r6/cache` directory. Steam will need to reverify files.

I'm sure there are some others depending on the mods you use, but uninstalling my many mods and deleting these directories allowed the game to run.

If all else fails, go for the clean install. :)''

clearing out archive\pc\mod worked for me

I had the same issue, if it's for stuttering/crackling sounds. For me it helped setting the audio sample rate to 96 kHz. hth

It was the jeans that made the crackling sound for me. Using a mod that turns off sound related to clothes fixed it for me.

Ok, so after several hours of playing problems return. But in fact less frequently. What I can say is that it’s not just limited to the game itself, but seems to affect the hardware device. Audio playback or streams by browser applications for example interrupt simultaneously.

That's a different problem then. I've never had any problems like that with anything aside from Cyberpunk 2077 and Generation Zero where it seems to be the exact same problem. But never with youtube, system sounds or other programs.

I'm getting it on both 1.63 and 2.00. When I first played it turning off Blue Tooth helped enough that the crackling was gone for most of the time, but nothing has helped the last two times I have fiddled around with the game.

Edit:
Come to think of it: Turn off Signal improvements and Surround Sound/Windows Sonic in your audio settings. Has never helped me with the game, but with some more general sound issues.
