Is the DLC free for pre-order?
I pre-ordered Cyberpunk before its release. As far as I remember, there was talk that all DLC would be free - is that the case, or will I have to buy the DLC that is supposed to be released soon? Thanks to anyone who knows the exact information.

No, i had picked up the collected box that come with a huge status and do not get the DLC

Go to the store page and buy it. if you need to pay you need to pay ^^. I payed the DLC no matter when I preordered what.

The DLCs were free. Phantom Liberty is a full expansion similar to the two Expansions that Witcher 3 had. They cost money.

CDPR has different terms.

DLC is minor stuff. The Victor clothes, the alt Johnny outfit, a few vehicles, etc. Those are free.

Phantom Liberty is an "Expansion" and not free.

Open the game and go to the dlc menu. Those are your dlc.

Expansion is paid.

The DLC´S meant miner thinks, like jackets or gigs. This gone be a whole new area witch is an Expansion, so it is paid

DLCs are free, but expansions are not, and there is a big difference.

Joke or not- The only thing extra you are paying for is Phantom Liberty, which includes a new area, gear, etc. It also includes the Relic skill tree, which was never planned to be in the base game. The 2.0 update that came out the other day was free and was a massive overhaul to the entire game. You aren't missing out on basic gameplay features at all.

The "DLC" and "Expansion" terms CDPR uses is nothing new to them. Witcher 3 has the same wordage and those expansions were great.

DLCs for the game are free and several have already been created and given out.
An expansion is way more than that and is not free but paid for.
This topic has been done many many times before on this forum.
