why is V bald?
No matter what i do, male or female V, V just ends up bald. Did the devs make it canon that V is going through cancer treatment or something?

But seriously, funny yet annoying glitch. Spend all that time making a character only for it to say "screw you, bald"

do you use shampoo and conditioner on your head or just like regular body soap? also how does dandruff effect you? does it make your head look weird and dry?

This has nothing to do with 'narrative design', it is just a limitation of investment (and the game director's perspectives) in another character controller option.

well the way i see it, its used for immersions sake, for screenshots, and you could technically see your character in 3rd person mode. But like you said, for the most part its just for that investment, for me its the investment and immersion. V's supposed to be someone in night city, and why not go ♥♥♥♥ wild with the character creator?

Why thankyou for asking I don't get dandruff at all and I use a single grey featureless bar of soap for all things

out of curiosity, some other user said they fixed bald (they had also different clothing) by updating to latest gpu drivers, are yours up to date?

Nah, I updated the drivers before even trying the new update. Bald everytime I hop on a bike or drive a car.

Whenever I hop on a bike, my V goes bald and changes into a completely different set of clothing with all this baggy camo stuff. It's like she goes through bootcamp every time she needs to drive somewhere lol.

Did you used to have mods at all?
If so, did you remove them/disable them in the red launcher?
Or are you a vortex user, and used it to remove them/uninstall them via vortex?
Try a clean sweep with cyberclean
https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/8595
It can remove the fragments that might have been left behind

Un-equip and Re-equip all your clothes.

It seemingly didn't help other people with this issue, but for me at least, updating my Nvidia drivers to 537.42 did seem to fix it.
