It came out like 18 hours ago dude.
Wow so informative.
you can also do a "verify files" in the steam game propreties
So clueless.
Also remember to update your drivers.
Right-click, select Properties.
Then select the menu item Updates.
Check there whether automatic updates are activated for this game.
I have the game downloaded, checked for updates and nothing came up, managed to launch the game without steam prompting for an update, played and checked if update changes were applied and you're telling me I don't know how to do exactly that?
So clueless.
It is, which is why I figured if an update were available, it should've either updated without my knowledge or would've blocked me from opening the game telling me to update, but it didn't.
I'll keep that in mind as a last resort, I'd really hope to fix it without having to do a full reinstall, game's pretty big, but thanks for the suggestion.
I've checked this as well, I don't have that selected nor do I have the option. Thanks for the suggestion though.
I did verify files about 2 hours ago and nothing came up, but I just tried it again and now it's updating, thanks for the help!
Without a clean re-install, even if you manage to get your game updated, it may face some issues that you shouldn't.
