Is there a viable stealth + gun assassination build now in 2.0?

I was using ninja bonuses with revolver + silencer for stealth playthrough, sneaking around headshotting individual targets, rather than guns blazing approach.

Now that's no longer viable since revolvers don't get silencer, and AR needs so many shots vs bullet sponges, the enemy alerts everyone and it ends up a guns blazing fire fight.

Are there sniper rifles with silencers or something that enable 1 shot 1 kill from stealth?

There's still an iconic silenced sniper rifle called overwatch that you get from panam quest, might wanna look into that. Besides, there's a mod that might help: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/9348

Currently running a silenced pistol build, and it works just like it used to. Cool, Tech, Reflexes, Sandy, good pistol with silencer. I'm almost never detected, and everyone's dead even if they do. Normal, hard, whatever. If you want a challenge, spec into throwing knives, which is similar but takes more skill.

Also, silenced revolvers unless if a very specific sealed design, maje zero sense, there's only one or two in reality for this very reason.

I kind of like the change, even though silenced revolver was my go to setup originally, I also hated how dumb it looked, the slow firing hard hitting semi autos are close enough to revolver damage to do the job and look cool at the same time, that or use throwing knives.

Use jackie's (cinqua dorada something) iconic pistol with a silencer. Get a sandevistan and a karenzikov. Aim for 15 in cool and tech, 9 in everything else except intelligence at 3.

Devs seem to always hate stealth builds for some reason, even though a lot of players enjoy them. If they screwed them up, we'll have to wait for modders to unscrew them.

It's more rewarding for me to finesse my way through encounters in these types of games, using stealth to outplay.

Guns blazing just turns this game into a mindless shooter like COD frankly.

this guy just doesnt have the right guns. Or throwing knives...crouch run/sneak is op and now can activate camo not sure what this guy is even talking about lmfao

Broken, more like, but then again, what build isn't? I wouldn't waste time on a stealth build, it's pointless.

Just use any weapon, pistol is fine, and just go full aggro on everyone. I use throwing knives out of boredom and still pretty much one shot everything even on max difficulty.

Many pistols deal just as much damage as Overture. In fact, I haven't used Overture at all in 2.0. It's kinda wonky with the stamina and Focus systems, and reduced ricochets. Doesn't handle too well IMO.

So yeah, get the biggest damage per shot pistol you can find and put the best silencer you have on it. Killer Instinct, Focus, Deadeye and Long Shot perks seal the deal, so you kinda wanna get Cool 15.

Sandi with a silenced pistol is an Easy mode even on Very Hard. The biggest thing about VH Diff is A) The early levels when you have next to no cyberware, crap guns you loot and few skills and B) Any sort of 'wave attack' battle when the enemies pour in from all sides.

My current build is a sniper with Overwatch and Sandi and I just pick the enemies apart from way out. When I have to go inside buildings I either use a shotgun or an SMG. There are several Iconic versions of both.

Stealthing with knives and pistol backup works well. Mix in some hacks to limit the enemy noticing all their friends dying everywhere is a nice bonus, also.

The gag order perk in cool tree is very important, it make a fail kill not instant combat. if you fail to kill with a shot, you can use follow up shots to kill. I use throw knife and almost never been detected.

Use Jackie's pistols and then get the Seraph and then get the Pride. You won't need anything after the Pride.

The stealth build I've been using is as follows: Tier5++ NUE with two empty mod slots that i found from NCPD locations; into which I slotted Legendary XC-10 Cetus which I got from air drops and two Legendary PAX mods which I crafted. On the gun in stealth this gives you 100% crit chance, %305 headshot damage. Then pair this with Lv55 HeadHunter, Gag Order & Long Shot. So long as you can kill a guy within 3 seconds you'll maintain the 100% crit chance and out of combat bonuses. On very hard mode I've been putting in 3k headshots from 50m; and even with two non-leathal PAX mods, quite often heads explode. I don't bother with a scope i just use the iron sights. Liberty can work but it's less damage, Tamayura adds 25% headshot damage over the NUE, but I didn't notice any bigger numbers while testing it.
