has the performance improved with 2.0?
just curious. ik they dont have to worry about last gen now, and that they added a lot of new ♥♥♥♥ including upscaling.

no... you will get from 10 to 15% less frames than you did in 1.6

By quite some margin yes.

Guy above most likely troll or hasn't updated his drivers.

I was getting around 80-100fps previously. Now it's 90-120

I got a massive improvement. So much so, I have ray tracing turned on and I didn't realize it. (3060ti + 5800x3d) and getting solid 60+ fps with ray tracing turned on

What? you should mention if you have DLSS enabled too.

if you run with RT you shouldn't see differences (you will have bottle neck on the gpu), if you have an "weaker" CPU for example a ryzen 5600 you gonna see a 15% more or less drop since the CPU usage is higher (without RT)...

i have noticed it in my game too, it's not that bad for me but it can hit you if your CPU is older

I have a 5800x and a 4090.
Frame rate is more or less the same I had with v 1.63 (between 158 and 95, usually above 125) but I noticed a massive increase in CPU and GPU usage (always higher than 75% and 90% respectively, before CPU was below 40% and GPU around 60%). This was expected, devs said 8 cores cpus would have reached high usage %
Playing in 1440p, quality DLSS + Frame Gen + everything maxed except path tracing, DOF, chromatic aberration and motion blur.

I have found improvements across the board. Frame times more consistent, About 10% uplift in frame rate and no stutters. NO DLSS or up scaling enabled. When I have played around with DLSS i've found improvements in image quality but not enough to have it on all the time (in my opinion)
im using a 5800x/3080ti combo and playing at 1440p getting 90-100FPS rtx off. 48-60FPS RTX on no DLSS. Latest drivers and win10
Performance is fantastic on the lowend as well.

I have gtx 1650, Folks, I've got everything on high and ultra except volumetric fog and clouds, AO...and maybe one other I can't think of...

With FSR quality 1.0 sharpening, I maintain 45 FPS almost 100%.

It's incredible....

Yep much better.
Kinzuko Sep 21, 2023 @ 6:01pm
it wont use my GPU and CPU and runs like piss even at 720p. 19FPS with the latest nvidia drivers!
35% CPU utilization on my ryzen 7 5800x and 24% on my RTX 2070 super
