Can't exit from ripperdoc menu

Welp, less than 5 minutes in and I find a game-breaking bug. I visit a ripperdoc right after loading in an old save, go in to see what the ripper has, then can't exit the shop menu. I have to alt-f4 to quit the game. Great comeback guys.

Also, didnt they say there are now animations of you sitting on the ripperdoc chair ?
i could swear they said that, thats why i went to check it out.

the first time i had to buy some cyberware for the available slots, like 3 things i had to buy, then all the slots showed and i could leave. just buy some stuff for the slots. its because you are doing the vic quest he calls you with

No that doesnt work cause i tried it and it's a normal ripperdoc, not the quest.

weird thing is, when in my inventory it shows I have some cyberware already installed, but in the ripper menu (any ripper) it only shows optics and hands, and they're both empty in the shop even though I have something installed there. Installing something in those slots doesn't change the fact that I have to alt-f4 out of the game bc I can't exit the vendor menu.

I should add there's no ability to change the menu to buy or sell anything.

You need to fill the empty slots when you first visit a ripper doc after the 2.0 update. After that the game will show you the rest.

I guess it might feel a bit janky at first when you already invested lots of stuff in your character and the game wants to avoid issues with the new max limit for cyberware.

Edit: You are not actually buying stuff in this situation. It only shows the parts you already own.

I installed optics and hands like you said, which made a third section of cyberware appear, I installed something there, then I got the full menu. Just my experience with it, at that point I could do whatever and leave and re enter the menu. I did not get any animations, I'm assuming that will be the first time you slot something in that area you will get the animation, I was on an old already chromed out character.

Same bug can’t even get to the menu again just stuck on 2 greyed out options talking about Johnny. This is a pretty serious bug.

I realized that if you look away from the character now it auto takes the options away and ends the conversation.

Yah, I ended up being able to do that. It was quite counterintuitive, especially considering there was no way for you to back out of the menu. I guess the followup is that every ripper seems to sell the same stuff? Nothing different in any of them.

Decided to take a break from Starfield and check out CP2077 2.0.
After much research I finally reallocated my attributes and then noticed my Cyberware said "See Ripper Doc for Upgrade", so I went to see Vic.
Only shows 2 options for Hands and Eyes and it wants to install trash. (I already have good cyberware installed). Cant exit without alt-f4.
Great update CDPR.

I guess I'll go back to Starfield until they can fix this so I can finish rebuilding my V.

Did you even read the thread? You need to finish the new Cyberware introduction by installing the Cyberware its telling you to before you get taken to the full Cyberware menu.

Your issue is user error, not on CDPR's end.

That "intro" could be a lot more clear. I thought it was glitched out the entire time, not some tutorial bs.

I didnt realize it was some tutorial as THE GAME DOESNT TELL YOU THAT!
