DLSS and DLSSG not updated to 3.5
Is it normal that the files aren't updated to v3.5 ?

Dlssg is frame generation
Dlss is super resolution
Dlssd is ray reconstruction

You can manually update dlss (super resolution) and dlssg by just swapping dlls in from techpowerups dlss versions repository or using dlss swapper if you wish.
I'm showing dlssd at 3.5 in my install.

Yes I am aware of the swapping, but I thought they would go 3.5 with the update, I can't even select the new ray option (and I have a 4090). They been talking about 3.5 with cyberpunk but the day of the update, that isn't updated so I am very confused and like I said I can't even select the new ray ai option altough I have selected everything at max and overdrive... I'm lost.

Did you update your drivers to 537.42?

No I haven't you think that could be the reason?

Definitely. I had them updated lately for all the releases this month. Although Starfield came without Nvidia DLSS support.

PATCH NOTES:
Added support for NVIDIA DLSS 3.5, which introduces DLSS Ray Reconstruction, a feature that improves the quality of Ray Traced effects. A GeForce RTX graphics card is required. The option is available in Settings → Graphics in the NVIDIA DLSS section. DLSS 3.5 is only available if Path Tracing is turned on. To make sure DLSS Ray Reconstruction works correctly on your PC, update your NVIDIA Game Ready Driver to version 537.42 at minimum.

Ok will go on and updated it, thanks guys. But it doesn't explain on the other hand why the dlss files aren't 3.5, maybe with the release of the dlc?

DLSS is a Nvidia product they can introduce all they want you still have to download it to get 3.5.

Looks like there is a new DLSS file included with the patch: nvngx_dlssd.dll (v3.5.0.0)
And they also include the typical nvngx_dlss.dll (v3.1.1.0)

Maybe when Ray Reconstruction is enabled in the options the game switches to this newer DLSS file? I checked my other games with DLSS, none of them include nvngx_dlssd.dll

Wrong. It's implemented at the dev level. It's up to game devs to supply the correct dll in the install folder. While you can switch it out, it's not an excuse for laziness.

Umm you might want to check again. This new driver required for 2.0 only came out just before 2.0 launched last night.
