Idea would be if you beaten the game, start the new game with leveled char and some items from previous walkthrough, where rest of the game levels to you giving you more less same feeling. Yeah I know it usually don't work that way.
Theoretically you are correct...it prolly won't give me anything...but hey I have sentiment to my old save game and that is just my wondering :)
I never understood it either. Why would you want to play through a game again without being able to unlock new abilities? Might as well just play through the game fresh and unlock stuff.
New game+ just should keep your perks and money.
Wait for the mod that allows you to carry a build over to update for it.
Well I have ended my previous walkthrough on 44 level so as you can see with new cap it should be enough to end game again this time on level cap 60. That's all.
The way I feel is a lot of the time and in many games, Cyberpunk included, by the time you reach your endgame build, you'll have completed 80%+ of the game and the difficulty will be so trivialized that you barely get to ride the high of playing your character at full power, so NG+ allows you to replay the game at full power, with higher difficulty enemies to give you an appropriate challenge.
At least give as a farcry style out post reset. V is a merc by the end of the game there isn't that much mercing left to do.
