Optimal graphics. RTX 4070ti.
Anyone got recommendations or tips for the optimal graphics settings for the RTX 4000 series?
I want it looking it's best with a good framerate.

Oh yeah right. @3840x2160 and I have locked my fps off @95fps. 144fps I don't need.
So to have it run anything above 60fps would be nice while keeping the quality at the best possible.

Your setting look great. And it runs with no issues?

just got this card a week ago, frame generation is totally worth while. running it on 1440p w/ overdrive mode, dlss auto, maxed settings, and im getting about 90 fps average. FG also helps with cpu bottlenecks which i never even knew.

you can get like a 20% performance increase if you don't care for overdrive mode, triple or quadruple that if you turn off ray tracing all together.

K, I think I shall go all in, mega ultra everything and then adjust from there. I didn't know the game was so well optimized, I haven't played in a long time. Time for my new 13 gen + RTX 4070 ti to earn it's keep. :D

i have a 4070 ti, i run the digital foundry optimised settings along with RT overdrive, i lock it to 30fps and its looks great. I love DLSS frame generation but it only works well if it has a high input frame rate that is at least 60 imo/. You can turn it on and get 60 most of the time though if you want. This is all at 3440x1440 with DLSS set to balanced, with a reshade shader to fix the HDR issues that hopefully will be fixed in this update

Feel free to just use normal ray tracing if you want much more fps

From digital foundry (https://youtu.be/pC25ambD8vs)
Contact Shadows: On
Improved Facial Lighting Geometry: On
Local Shadow Mesh Quality: High
Local Shadow Quality High
Cascaded Shadows Range: High
Cascaded Shadows Resolution: Medium
Distant Shadows Resolution: High
Volumetric Fog Resolution: 1080p Ultra, 1440p High, 4K Medium
Volumetric Cloud Quality: Medium
Max Dynamic Decals: Ultra
Screen Space Reflections Quality: Low but High if you find the amount of grain distracting.
Subsurface Scattering Quality: High
Ambient Occlusion: Low (there is barely a difference)
Colour Precision: Medium
Mirror Quality: 1080p High. 1440p High, 4K Medium
Level of Detail: High

Recommended Ray Tracing Settings

Ray Traced Reflections: On
Ray Traced Shadows: Off
Ray Traced Lighting: Medium
If that is not enough for you, Turn off reflections - the RT lighting is more important, on balance.

Image Quality Recommendations: 1080p DLSS Quality, 1440p, DLSS Balanced, 4K, DLSS Performance

Thanks for that list of options. It gives me a idea of my starting options. I believe 2.0 comes with DLSS 3.5 as well,

Lucky you, you have one of the only GPUs that can play this at decent FPS.

Same here : 13600k 4070ti 1440p ultra + rt ultra + dlss quality e frame generation : 130 fps avarege in bench

I have never pushed the graphics so far in Cyberpunk before, well I wasn't really in the position to do so back then. So, this in itself is going to be a new experience for me. To go full hog with ray tracing has just boosted my excitement 100 fold. :steamhappy:
I'm so glad I decided to upgrade my PC for this. I mean the graphics have always been good but I have never seen the game run in all it's glory.

well with the update idk if we will turn it in ultra with ray tracing xd hardly depends of RAM and CPU

Considering my 4090 can get in 4k over 100 fps with all maxed settings and path tracing (DLSS balanced) i'm sure your 4070 can do the same without path tracing and using Ultra RTX. Path Tracing is overkill anyway and unnecessary in my opinion.

yes but the dlc is gonna use 90% of cpu (I guess the update too)

I mean, even it it did would this be a bad thing. If it wasn't using the full potential of your machine, the power you paid for, then you might have cause for concern.
Again, this is going to be dependant on your CPU, mine for instance might use 20% but my mates older CPU might climb to 90%.
It isn't going to be pushing your CPU just for the hell of it.

1440p/DLSS Balanced/frame gen on
Ultra settings/path tracing on

Puts you around 90fps
