Where to get legendary weapon mods in 2.01?

Where do I find these dam things?
I know a lot is level oriented now. I'm level 40.

if by weapon mods you mean attachments, then air drop crates seem to be the only occasion to grab them.

i have loads in my inventory (scopes / muzzles ect). i assume from dismantling drops with them slotted. i don't pay attention because the weapons i use have no slots :P

Mods, not attachments, guys.

Buy lower level mods at gunshops and craft them to higher tiers. 2 Tier 1 mods make one 2 Tier Mod. 2 Tier 2s make a Tier 3, and so on. You should also be picking some up from dead enemies.
