Patch 2.01 = crashing on title screen
What the title says. I experienced some lag on 2.0 but it didn't crash on me. Now I get to see the Cyberpunk 2077 logo and then "Cyberpunk has flatlined"
I sent like 3 crash reports. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Penser à faire TOUTE les mises à jour des pilotes NVIDIA,
Je joue sans aucun modes.
J'espère que ça fonctionnera pour vous aussi.

I don't HAVE any mods. I never did, never will. I hate mods in general and particularly in cases like this when the go-to answer for fixing things is "remove mods"

Are you absolutely sure? Not even "skip intro logos"? Because that's what happened to me.
Anyway, these are fixes I can think of:

1) First of all, make sure that you have the latest GPU driver. For nvidia, the difference between August driver and "Phantom Liberty" driver is crashing vs not crashing.

2) Copying the script cache file "final.redscripts" from Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\cache\ to Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\cache\modded . Although this is usually a fix for people with mods (it fixed my problem).

3) Disabling nvidia shader cache: Go to nvidia control panel, manage 3D settings, turn off shader cache. Although 2.01 is supposed to fix this, you never know... might wanna experiment with this.

I really wish i could get another other than update your graphic drivers. I've updated for the 1000th time and this game is still crashing on the title screen. Also I tried all three steps BlueBangkok suggested and it still crashes.

I don't mean to turn this into a discussion about mods but yes, BlueBangkok, I'm absolutely sure. I am infinitely technically inept. Any time I save by skipping intro logos with a mod will not make up for the amount of time I have to spend getting that mod to work.

Tweaking in-game settings is one thing, but messing around with files is too much, and most mods require you to do something like that and then they might not even work! I didn't have that happen to me a lot but it turns out I have an extremely low tolerance for that sort of thing. Trying and failing to make mods work in Terraria when the devs made it as easy as possible and still failing made me abandon all mods forever and never look back.

I don't regret a thing.

Have you tried to copy over the cache file? That's what fixed this launch crash for me personally.

Thankfully having zero issues with the game but if I was I would try the following personally.

You said you have no mods installed so wont go down that route.

1. Make sure Windows is fully up to date.
2. If overclocking, set all overclocks back to factory settings.
3. Check CPU and GPU temps.
4. Verify the integrity of the game files.
5. Remove the display driver via Windows then run DDU in safe mode, re-boot to windows and re-install the latest display driver.
6. Uninstall the game, make sure to remove all files and folders associated with the game from your system, re-install and start a fresh save.(backup old save if you like)

I speak like 0 French but the link included made everything crystal clear. Once I installed 537.42 drivers on Nvidia it worked fine. Thank you!

Remember to update ALL NVIDIA drivers,
I play without any modes.
I hope it works for you too.

What worked for me but sound weird is I went to Cyberpunks exe file and launched the game through that instead of the launcher and it worked for me. My issue might be with the launcher.
