Lower your graphics settings.

you on a hdd? runs super smooth with 4000 and frame generation + dlss. and of course game is on a ssd, sata is good enough.

I don't have full screen freeze but I have constantly these which feels like input freezes and returns exactly after second or so (the freeze time is constant always). after the freeze is over it flips my screen to wherever I was moving my cursor during the freeze. Very weird stuff and also happens on desktop if I have CP running on background.

Ryzen 5 2600, 16GB ram, RTX 2060, SSD.

HakkeBoo, I have a 2060 as well, the only thing I've tried so far that seems to help the constant stuttering is Disabling Async Compute via CET's options (cyber engine tweaks). It also seemed to boost overall performance for me slightly. https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/107
https://wiki.redmodding.org/cyber-engine-tweaks/

I know it says that setting is intended for older GPUs like the 10x0 series (20x0 are old at this point too, tbh), but try it out. While it didn't get rid of all the freezes and hitches I was experiencing, it did reduce the frequency of them dramatically. The game is actually (mostly) playable now. I really don't know why that's not an official option in the video menu still.

I can't remember if I used that setting pre-2.0, I feel like I might have when I was trying everything to get more performance, but I played the game around launch and it's very hard to remember at this point.

I tried messing around with the graphics but still did not work. Game was perfectly fine before 2.01.

Did anyone try using older drivers maybe?

For anyone who has mods like me, I found that what caused the stuttering every second was simplemenu mod for CET. Deleted the mod from the bin folder and the stuttering is gone. It could be something else for you, so start by deleting all the mods there and checking. CTRL +Z and then test each mod separately.

This was my issue as well and removing the mod above fixed it just Akiba described.

Just so everyone knows, the mod was fixed a minute after I told the modder about the issue, just my luck. Anyway after updating the mod, the update has no issues.
same problem. reinstalling the game helped only for a while, then the same stutters with an interval of about 5 seconds. But I found a way to fix it, at least for a while. I just waited a few hours with immersive timeskip and these stutters disappeared.

I have this issue now. I have never modded the game. It was working fine till last evening and suddenly started micro freezing every 5-8 seconds like how some games do when you quick save. It's incredibly annoying.

Any fix for this?

I had similar issues with micro stuttering at version 2.11. I tried several of the advices, like cleaning all shader caches and deactivating full-screen compatibility. Additionally I used every combination of vsync (in game, NCP), screen mode and frame limitation. I found a compromise by using full-screen mode with vsync off, which mitigated the stuttering but for the price of screen tearing. What ultimately solved the issue was switching back to borderless window mode and turning off the Reflex Low Latency feature. In addition I set my LG OLED to 100Hz. Only found it by coincidence. My only explanation is: Reflex Low Latency tries to optimize the whole processing chain towards a low latency, but like in my case ( I use a very long hdmi cable) there is just a certain amount of latency in the system and the optimization finally leads to inconsistent frame rates. But I am not an expert and so no guarantee that this makes sense ;).

Activating P-Cores solved it for me.
