consistent crashing on parade mission
During the parade mission for Takemura, before killing the second sniper when you descend in the area with the floating security drones my application will completely close with a popup to send a report. This is consistent as I've tried restarting the mission from different save files and it always crashes when I reach the same location. Is anyone else having this problem?

Same. Never had mods and it's def not my rig. Mission's called Play it safe

It's the section where you're going for the 2nd sniper just as you described.

UPDATED: I use Geforce experience and for this game I choose the option optimize so it just put settings all in low and 768 resolution and the problem was gone, later after that mision I put my settings as i had before and keep playing normal.

Same.. This seems to be bugged after the 2.0 patch. checked integrity on files, and everything is good. never had any mods installed either.

As soon as i get out of the elevator on the parade quest, while looking around trying to find the second sniper, it just crashes.

i hope this bug is known, and a fix is on the way as i can not progress further in the game. which is a shame, because this game is absolutely amazing.

Same problem in my friends game.

Exact same crash as described above. While descending the catwalks between the 1st and 2nd snipers, where you can drop panels if your Tech ability is high enough. Consistently crashing.

No mods installed.

Same exact situation here, as soon as I get to the second section of catwalk it crashes. I've tried lowering the specs (my rig is a monster, I play with everything at max), didn't work. I tried verifying the integrity, it downloaded some 100 kb so basically nothing, but even that did not work, still crashing. I can't progress with the game, which is a shame because it's a masterpiece and I was loving it. If they don't fix this fast I'll uninstall and save the ssd space.

Try disable your antivirus I got once an ERROR ACCESS and after disable it worked for a while maybe could work for you.

Ok I fixed it, here's what worked for me:

1. I disabled nvidia experience overlay
2. I disabled the retarded launcher so that steam just runs the game directly
3. Turned off HDD mode from ingame settings
4. Turned off Cloud Sync saving from ingame settings
5. Changed autosave frequency to 30min. Now this requires modifying a file in the game directory so that the slider for the autosave frequency shows up in the game settings, it takes 3 seconds really. Apparently the devs set it to be hidden for some inexplicable reason. Here's the tutorial I used: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKN4Z6TooKM
I DID NOT disable autosaves entirely, because that can potentially ♥♥♥♥ up the game. I just changed the frequency to 30mins.

I don't know which one actually was the fix, but after doing all of this the game never crashed again and I went on to finish the mission. I STRONGLY suspect it's the Cloud Sync Saving System though.

Oh also I disabled the Gaming Mode from the msi Dragon Center, for good measure. I doubt this did anything but it's a useless feature anyway so might as well.

checking the logs after the crash, this is the error that causes it:
Expression: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005)
Caused because some files cannot be edited without administrator rights.
Run the exe as administrator in X:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64
and you won't get the crash.
:)

Switch off the ray tracing for the rest of this mission. There’s also same crash when going to takemura’s apartment. Switching off ray tracing helped again in my case. None of the above worked otherwise.
