Clothing Rarity

Am I missing something or does clothing rarity not matter anymore? I haven't acquired any clothing that allows mods to be added such as armadillo, has it all been changed? I see some clothing already has extra stats but most clothing doesn't give you any boost at all so I have to think the rarity is pointless. Can someone please explain. thanks.

It's not Rarity anymore, not really. It follows the same Tier system as weapons and will affect two things.

1. The crafting component you get when you dismantle it
2. If it's one of the pieces that has some kind of bonus (ie. +Armor or +Quickhack speed), higher Tier clothing will have higher numbers.

Gives you better stats when the clothing pieces DO have bonuses.

Having all messages be hidden until they are checked out increases the chances of two people giving the same answer :/

ah ok, so its all completely changed. im guessing clothing mods arent even a thing now then

no they changed it in 2.0 patch some cloths still have bonuses but all the armor and dps comes from cyberware now. A tip sell weapons and dismantle cloths :) weapons give insane creds while clothes give you the components to upgrade stuff
