Thanks for the info. Ever since the latest patch came out, I wondered why my NVIDIA 4090 powered rig, that is displaying at 3440X1440 ultrawide, is showing such fuzzy graphics.
I hope CDPR or even NVIDIA will look into this.
Is it raining when you got blurry textures? Noticed DLSS and rain got a bit of an issue with DLSS 3.5
Why they like so much to make the game worse ffs?
I had the same issue with my RTX4090. and 1440p ultrawide
I prefer to focus on best quality first, then frame rate. What I have learned is:
RESOLUTION SCALING:
Scaling = DLSS Super Resolution
Resolution = Quality
Sharpening = 1.0
DLSS Ray Reconstruction = ON
DLSS Frame Gen = On
RAY TRACING:
PathTracing = ON
BASIC:
All = OFF. Including motion blur. (I hate all that junk)
All other settings were set to their maximum setting.
This resulted in the following =
Location = Just outside the clothing shop at LELE Park fast travel. I was standing on the corner of the white tiles just before the larger gold tile.
View = facing the stairs. I was looking upwards so the pink tree was slightly to the left of the center of the screen with sky behind it, and the green tree to the right. (this also had some buildings in the background.)
Time = 8am on a clear sunny day
FPS = rested around 112-114
I was getting blur / some ghosting on the trees, more obvious on the pink one with the sky behind it. Also faces were a bit fuzzy. Even worse when they were standing in one place but moving their head slightly.
I repeated this and SHUT OFF only one setting. DLSS RAY RECONSTRUCTION = OFF
This made a very noticeable improvement in the faces and pink tree. (Not perfect but much much better) my FPS did not appear to take a hit.
Not sure if DLSS Ray Reconstruction is bugged or not intended to be used with PT, but it seemed to be resulting in blurry/fuzziness with minor ghosting. I tried turning on DLSS RR with PT off and the problem occurred again but not as bad.
Not sure if DLSS RR conflicts with PT. But to me, what looks best is DLSS RR set off when PT is on.
