Is there a iconic or legendary smart sniper rifle?

found "legendary Ashura Iconic smart sniper rifle crafting spec" searching online but its not there in 2.0. Been hoping for a drop for this weapon for days now.
cant find a legendary smart shotgun also.
Any tips? Specifically for the smart sniper

There is a smart Iconic sniper rifle...... if you have 10 dollars to spend.

I wouldnt bother.... the smart sniper is garbage and smart weapons are currently bugged.

Is that the one locked behind two subs or was that something else? Also apparently bullets flying off into the sunset while locked is by design. I do like how they made the smart gun changes and forgot about skippy though who is now all sorts of broken.

Actually you can buy a legendary crafting spec if you are the right level. You won't hit what you aim at most of the time but you can get one.

I got the legendary Ashzura crafting spec from a gig in Rancho Coronado called Desperate SoBs from a named mob up some stairs.

You can use the CET mod to get it for free.

Thats the one.... and bullets not hitting the target after lock on is such great design lol. I think a weapon where you havr to wait nearly 2 and a half seconds to actually begin to deal damage should be thrown into the sun. Literally every single sniper in the game has higher DPS than Ashura. 2.0 killed that weapon.

I like'em and have a crap load of fun with the smart sniper i already have. its just a purple tier though

The crafting spec is random from most after the heist gun sellers. It costs a lot.

Or get it free from the edit in my post above.

I found a guarenteed crafting spec for a legendary verson from the ncpd mission Desperate Sons-of-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in Rancho off the body of Paul Craven

gave ya a couple award, i have no idea what those things are for i have almost 200,000 steam points dont know what to do with them

Well you should do your research better then, because smart weapons are the strongest weapon type at the moment. Be it full auto smg or a sniper rifle. You can instalock to the head without waiting, you can keep shooting from hipfire into the head afterwards, you have + 50% damage increase alone from perk and cyberware, you get all the headshot bonuses from focus. I mean you clearly haven't tried them mate 😅

Yes, smart weapons are good... except the sniper rifle. It takes too long to lock on, and when you finally get to fire, it misses 75% of the time. It's trash since 2.0. It was good before that.

If you have the right Perk, Smart weapons have instant lock while you're running Overclock.
