If you are worried about having too much cash, don't sell gear, break it down for crafting supplies.
it used to be that you earned too little. in particular if you wanted to get all the cars pre 2.0. that was one hell of a grind to make the millions and millions needed for that (doing it legit without duplicating paintings to sell lol)
now you earn too much (at level30+) due to level scaling and the nonstop junk epic and legendary weapon drops all over the place that sell for loads.
now you can do repeatable missions to get massive discounts on the cars so they are pretty much free. so that money pit is more or less gone.
cybernetics and upgrading them can be costly in the beginning tho i think some of the T5+ upgrades are rather cheap at like 10k eddies lol
and general upgrades just being on iconics only now also saves tonnes of cash.
sweet spot is somewhere between the 2. they had it skewed too far one way and now the other.
