Is Cherry Blossom market in Japantown a performance intensive area?
I play DLDSR 1620p DLSS performance RT Ultra on my 3070 and can maintain an fps in the high 50s for most of the game, even had early 50s in the square outside V's megabuilding, but enter cherry blossom market after exiting the already demanding jig jig street where my fps already were in the mid 40s and my fps drop further into the early 30s, arguably worse than dogtown. Wondering if this performance drop was a one time issue or if it is always like that in that particular area due to all the stalls.

No nothing, in Dog Town yes and also when you're on the "ship" with Panam it's super intense....

Certain areas of the city, it seems to be attached to your Population setting. Turn it down to low and you'll notice a considerable performance increase in the city. Been like this for me since 2.0 AT LEAST.

By population, I mean traffic (Cars and civilians etc.)
The cities are packed which is why the performance drops, where as the suburbs and nomad territory are high fps because they're low pop
I didn't tried every corner of the city, but the most performance intensive areas I've found so far are the ones with higher NPC crowd, examples:
Jig Jig street and the market close to it.
Surroundings of Corpo Plaza.
Kabuki market sometimes.

Aside RT settings and Screen Space Reflections the NPC crowds are the most performance sink thing in the game.
