I want a no Johnny Mod
I hate Johnny.
Seems kind of impossible but I wish he could be modded out of the game.

How far are you into the game? Most people hate Johnny at the start but will turn around on him eventually. He grows on you, sorta. I love him, personally. Even more so in Phantom Liberty. He's my choom.
well then you can just pick the dialogue options to piss him off and role play as a Johnny-hating character. The whole plot is about having him stuck in your brain when you don't want him there. So if you still can't tolerate that, maybe this just isn't the game for you.

i just wish we could skip his flashbacks completely, or make them like a cutscene, i really really dislike playing as him

Johnny is legit one of the best videogame characters of all time. You will dislike him at the start but, he'll grow on you for sure!

I finished the game a long time ago but was thinking of coming back.

My first play through I was thinking there would be a way to get Johnny out of my head and then keep playing.

I guess he is back in Phantom Liberty though, so no avoiding it.

Agreed.... at the end of the day he killed thousands of innocent people and I'msuppose to sympathize with him.

Nope.

Yes, you are correct.
The game is not for me.
I hated not only Johnny but also the long unskippable cutscenes and braindance stuff, and especially the fact that nothing you said or did mattered.

I was hoping maybe this improved with the DLC.

Johnny turns the game from an RPG to a Johnny Silverhand RPG, the game is already great and would have 10x more potential without him. In the end, all your choices are related to Johnny. He takes away any storyline autonomy from V.

He's pretty integral to the story, but I can see your reasoning. I remember being this nitpicky with games for a period a year back, maybe you should take a break? Just offering friendly advice. It helped me.

Nope.

Technically it was Morgan Blackhand, a botched shard swap merged the two personalities. Johnny was just the rocker-boy that got domed in the beginning of the attack.

The game is fun. Ignore the main story as much as you can until all regions unlocked and just explore the city. That alone is many hours of game play.

He didn't, really. Morgan Blackhand did that. The majority of Johnny's memories are a lie, and him being behind the bombing is Arasaka propaganda because they got him but Morgan beat Adam Smasher's ass and got away scot free.

He was there, but it was Morgan's (on Militech's payroll) op, Morgan planted the bomb, and Morgan was the one who fought Smasher. Johnny's team was only there to draw Arasaka forces away from Morgan's squad. He was a distraction.

At least, that's how it went down in the TTRPG, and 2077 makes it very clear Johnny's memories are mostly fake. I'm also omitting the Player Character's contribution, which was significant, but difficult to quantify in lore considering how many different PCs there are.

Ever considered the fact that he's deliberately written this way? I strongly disliked him in my first run as well. I let that run sit and simmer and after my second run, he's grown on me and I've come to understand what he's on about. Modding him out of the game is probably possible but would hinder the story drastically.

Ah fair enough. Yeah if you don't like him, you don't like him. That's too bad though. I wish you could enjoy it as much as I do. Just googled real quick. There indeed isn't any Johnny suppression mods anywhere ever...
