New best sword after 2.0?

They drastically changed the satori in 2.0, so I'm wondering if anyone knows what the new best sword to use (especially for crit build) is for 2.0+ ?

the issue is you can achieve 100% crit chance with ANY sword making those crit bonuses pointless on many of the swords.
last shinobi perk (40% while sandevistan is active) + 60% base crit from your cyberware

would be much nicer if they gave crit damage bonuses so their unique traits don't become obsolete.

however the sword you speak of (Jinchu-Maru) is arguably the best because of its bonus damage to elites. since normal guys get 1shot with any sword anyway. (once your higher level)

mantis blades are fun but they attack much slower than the katanas. knives are great :D

I always play as a netrunner, I don’t like the fact that other decks limit the gameplay so much and essentially don’t give anything in return except the Charlie Shin style))))) So a katana with 100% crit while invisible is my choice :D

I enjoy Byakko because of the fast attack flurry it gives. Its really nice with a Sande.

The absolute best is a generic 5++ with 2 mod slots to slot severance and a tier 5 cyclone.

All of the iconics are fairly well balanced, with Cocktail Stick being a stand out weaker option.

yeh i wish the ability to hack objects to distract enemies worked as a baseline for everything. its kind of annoying using berserk and sandevistan and being unable to stealth through some missions that ask for it to be done stealthily.

yeh base weps with 2 slot offer the largest raw damage

the severance hod however while its th ebest melee weapon mod i feel like its hard to pass up the wallpuncher tech weapon mod that allows 200% charge and 100% penetration

Scalpel, with the Apogee sandevistan. Pretty much 100% up time on the sandy, with flash and thunderclap perk so you leap each attack. Very hard difficulty is not very hard.

still a satori fan, combining it with the new dagger off saburo means my health is always rising as long as I keep up the attack.

Gwynbleidd, while only an option for Witcher 3 owners, is by far my most favourite sword. While not the most powerful sword possible, it still packs enough punch to annihilate whole groups in seconds, even without a Sandevistan/Berserker activated, due to it giving guaranteed critical hits when killing enemies in rapid succession.

It's also the only real western style sword in the game which makes it stand out a lot from the others just for that.

By the time you reach max level with all the bells and whistles in the skill trees, any bonus on the weapons are largely eclipsed by everything just dying too quickly.

So you should just go with looks, so I submit to you: if you are not using Gwynbleidd, a shame on all your houses.

Byakko is also acceptable.

best katana.

gonna miss that Chimera Heart in my apartment :P



also have 100% crit with it. while sandi is active +40% + a base 60% :D

edit: things a beast. slaughtered Maxtac on Vhard during sandi before they even started attacking lol
