Steam Cloud Saving: OFF
I just uninstalled and then reinstalled a fresh copy of the game, started it and their was a 'Continue' option on the home screen with an old save. Not cool.
Guess I'm going to have to play offline from now on.

How hard would it be for you to just start a new game, instead of continuing... lol.

Whiners will always whine

They are wanting to start a new game.. reading comprehension much? They are saying they see a "Continue" button a fresh install because it detects old cloud saves, which it shouldn't be doing.

I don't know what I did, but between re-installing the game multiple times, turning on/off cloud saves, I was finally able to get rid of 3 old saves that just would NOT go away no matter what.

Disabling cloud doesn't do it then .... try deleting

Dude.. really? You CAN'T delete cloud saves from the game UI and they don't let you access them.. like how is this not basic info? lol

You can actually
carnie2 Oct 6, 2023 @ 2:56pm
So here is how to do that ...

1 Enable cloud saves for this game.
2 open game
3 open the "Save game option" where you see all that games saves.
4 delete one save after the other, untill all saves are deleted.
5 give steam enough time to register this, then close game.
6 check that steam cloud saves are complete for the game.
7 disable cloud saves

8 watch in awe, as steam could saves for this game is now non existing
Bogmore Oct 6, 2023 @ 3:09pm
Enter game, go to load game, select a game save, press X, press enter, repeat until they are all gone. Close game.

Go to C:\Users\YourUsername\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\ and delete Cyberpunk 2077.

See if you have any saves at https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorageapp/?appid=1091500

Carnie2, that will leave the Autosaves.

Uninsatalling does not delete your saved game folder. You have to manually delete you saved games if you want to start totally fresh.
David CSR Oct 7, 2023 @ 4:27am
@Willow Rivers...there are always two cloud saves that can't be uninstalled.
@carnie2 [Steam level 0]...if I enable Steam cloud saving, all my saves will be cloud saves.

I deleted my save file for Cyberpunk, before uninstalling and reinstalling and cloud saves were the last thing I expected to see. This poses a problem if I want to have multiple playthroughs with different characters.
Anyway, thanks to most of you for trying to be helpful.

@ Winterlightsoul "if I enable Steam cloud saving, all my saves will be cloud saves."

You have to enable cloud saves, in order to delete the old cloudsaves, in the game.
After having done that, you need to disable could saves again. I clearly described that.

BTW: If it matters to you, im steam lvl 92.

Okay carnie2, you sound like you are mocking me...[your initial comment said as much], so this is my last post on this subject. With Steam cloud saving turned off, I end up with cloud save files in Cyberpunk 2077. In my mind, that should never have happened to begin with, so CDPR are responsible.
Cloud saving is not my preference, I wouldn't have installed two 2 terabyte HDD hard drives otherwise. The cloud saves obviously happen when I play online.
So the solution is disconnecting from the internet and playing offline.
