Whiners will always whine
They are wanting to start a new game.. reading comprehension much? They are saying they see a "Continue" button a fresh install because it detects old cloud saves, which it shouldn't be doing.
I don't know what I did, but between re-installing the game multiple times, turning on/off cloud saves, I was finally able to get rid of 3 old saves that just would NOT go away no matter what.
Dude.. really? You CAN'T delete cloud saves from the game UI and they don't let you access them.. like how is this not basic info? lol
1 Enable cloud saves for this game.
2 open game
3 open the "Save game option" where you see all that games saves.
4 delete one save after the other, untill all saves are deleted.
5 give steam enough time to register this, then close game.
6 check that steam cloud saves are complete for the game.
7 disable cloud saves
8 watch in awe, as steam could saves for this game is now non existing
Go to C:\Users\YourUsername\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\ and delete Cyberpunk 2077.
See if you have any saves at https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorageapp/?appid=1091500
Carnie2, that will leave the Autosaves.
You are correct. But together we will get this done :-D
Uninsatalling does not delete your saved game folder. You have to manually delete you saved games if you want to start totally fresh.
@carnie2 [Steam level 0]...if I enable Steam cloud saving, all my saves will be cloud saves.
I deleted my save file for Cyberpunk, before uninstalling and reinstalling and cloud saves were the last thing I expected to see. This poses a problem if I want to have multiple playthroughs with different characters.
Anyway, thanks to most of you for trying to be helpful.
You have to enable cloud saves, in order to delete the old cloudsaves, in the game.
After having done that, you need to disable could saves again. I clearly described that.
BTW: If it matters to you, im steam lvl 92.
Cloud saving is not my preference, I wouldn't have installed two 2 terabyte HDD hard drives otherwise. The cloud saves obviously happen when I play online.
So the solution is disconnecting from the internet and playing offline.
