One of my weapons got reset to level 1

I had a legendary Defender, max upgraded, today after booting the game up it got reset to white/gray rarity and level 1, loading earlier saves doesn't fix the issue.
Also I can't buy the gun again because it was unique from a specific vendor,
my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
Also my gorilla arms got reset too.

this happened to my gorilla arms 5++ now tier 1 and because of the cyberware capacity glitch even if i buy new teir 5 arms i cant equip them because im over capacity? but i just had them equipped......love 2.0 but we need patches ASAP

What you could do, assuming you're playing on PC, is install the Cyber Engine Tweaks mod from nexus, and add the weapon using the console;

Game.AddToInventory("Items.Craftable_Legendary_Defender",1)

You could also get the defender crafting spec from the vendor at the sunset motel in the badlands.

I had my Gorilla Arms reset to grey from purple.

What I did - I've created new manual save and loaded that save and the Gorilla Arms went back to it's proper tier.

yep my mantis blades got reset to tier 1+ and it wants me to use tier 5 materials to upgrade them to tier 2

glad I'm not the only one. So there was a glitch that let you install CW you shouldn't have been able to or this reset to Tier 1 is the glitch?

Someone else posted, sell them to a vendor and rebuy and they snap back to original status. Worth a try!

Same but i only noticed a single CW element. Can't look further because I am having a game crashing issue. I have almost 40 hours into a new game for PL I started the day the 2.0 patch came out. I really REAALLLYYY hope my saves are ok.

yep, same here. I didn't notice my gun was downgraded right away so I played through a mission so I guess now my gun is permanently borked. Cool stuff.
