Update 2.1 need fresh reinstall for people with mods

So far only CET has been updated for patch 2.01, So either disable or remove mods and repair/update. Or wait a few hours / a day or so for the mod frameworks to get updated.

I'm personally not heavily modded yet. But I still require Redext, Redscript, Tweakxl, archivexl, and deceptious quest core to update

Except i don't have any mods on there. I clean installed for Phantom Liberty and 2.0, because i wanted to see what is new. No mods are running and it still gives me the crash with the scripts. It then downloads 56mb... and even when i then after it Verified/Repaired, it will keep updating another 51mb patch each time i Verify and Repair without even starting. When i start, it crashes and downloads 56mb.

Are you sure the download, verify, and repair completed? I didn't have this issue in this case, but I have had issues with Steam getting hung up during the update process.

You can use download_depot 1091500 1091501 7695458851217910405 to download previous version in console steam mode.

However the files are not yet available in steam server. At least for me I am unable to downlaod 2.0 version.

after download is finished just copy and replace files.
it works perfectly fine, just make sure you wait till you see info that download is complete (ignore any err or other info).

I don't get it. I opened the console, copied your text. Now it is downloading the depot. But where is it? Like in which folder the files will be after? I don't see anything under "Downloads" buttom of steam. But I see something is downloading cause my internet is on full usage.

Hello. I just got my game working and for me it was the red4text, redscript and tweakxl files. I removed them from my game folder and verified integrity of the game and it worked. Something to try out if you haven't already. Worked for me.

Bruh, what's up with you ppl the game was 2.0 version they updated the mods, so they can work with 2.0 now the game is 2.01, so they need to update the mods again what you have to do is uninstall the mods, don't need to need fresh reinstallation. Tadaaaaaaaa basic things. smh

Stop spreading false information, you don't need a fresh install just had to wait for the core mods to update to 2.01, is the same thing every patch but some people are delusional and don't have a brain, they just click on install mods without even taking a minute to read, so sad
