Photo mode
I can't be the only one experiencing this.

When all is set and ready in the photo mode, you're supposed to press space to hide the UI to take the screenshot. But for some reason as soon as I hit space and hide the UI, it messes up the whole image and the final screenshot looks different, if not worse (messier, sometime blurry, etc).

Why does this happen? Why is the game trying to proccess something on the screen instead of just doing the one job of hiding the UI?
Sure, I can press TAB to hide UI, but that doesn't hide the glowing blue cursor. Which, even if I try to hide in the corner of my screen, still intrudes in to the final shot
Are there any workarounds to this? Any fix?

Note that I'm playing on GOG so idk if there is a similar issue on the Steam version.

I don't have the same issue with the UI but for processing progress You might want to check your graphic settings and disable the path tracing in photo mode . It usually doesn't work well with the custom effects and looks different in the final shot.
Also using incorrect value of zoom and depth of field might cause the closer object and character to be out of focus and get blurry .

I don't bother hiding the UI. I just take the image and it takes it the UI off in the actual file it creates. I think hiding the UI is there to give you a clearer screen while composing the image. Leaving it on still lets you take it and the image you get doesn't have the UI. You could try that, although that doesn't fix for when you do hide it.
