Non lethal mods in 2.0
Ok i have finished the game but playing 2.0 i am absolutely unable to understand how i can enable non lethal mods which are a must have for Cyberpsychos gigs.

How can i basically equip my character or weapons with such mods ?

I believe they are weapon mods you need to attach if a gun has a mod slot.
Other option is to switch to fists / blunt weapon when they are low HP and hit them.

"bludgeon" attacks (gorilla arms, baseball bats, vibrator, etc) will knock out an enemy instead of killing them; any quick hacks that disable an enemy.

There is also a cyberware mod that makes weapons non-lethal. (i believe its called Pax)

You don't need them for cyberpsychos. They will always merely remain incapacitated after the final hit and die only if you hit them again.

Well, ****. And here I've been YOLOing at them with a crappy baseball bat once they're down to a few health.
Thanks for the tip!

Ok so let me try then

In initial game it was a kind of mod on your cyberware or something which was making akll your weapons non lethal.
But i cannot retrieve how to do that.

Thank you
Don't think that exists anymore. Have to do each weapon individually now so far as I know.

Pre 2.0 that was a mod for your eyes. It seems like they took out cyberware mods for 2.0 with the cyberware rework, so that mod is gone. The Pax weapon mod is still around.

Most can be taken out with stealth, distracting them then choking them out.

The only 2 that really stick out to me that couldnt be stealthed were Lilith? with the mantis blades that emerges from the ice tub, and the katana dude that drops down from the ceiling to kill another gangster in front of you.

Pax mod to make guns nonlethal still exists, it's just a lot less common to see than it used to be.

Stun batons and bats work well. Also, good for practicing the counter hits.

Idk where, but i also got a blueprint to craft Pax mod so it might be worth looking for it too, sorry for not knowing where to buy it but i hope it helps

I've found the easiest way is to shoot them to 5-10% health and then spam some non lethal quick hack (like overheat/charge). Naturally that requires you to use cyberdeck (and not sandevistan etc). Another what I have used was Skippy (set to 'puppy loving pacifist' mode)

I'm pretty sure even if you use lethal weapons, cyberpsychos will by default be knocked unconscious so you don't actually need nonlethal mods on your weapons for them.

Incorrect, sir. I am currently playing with the latest update and used a lethal weapon. Tried it several times to make sure I wasn't hitting them after downing them. They absolutely, 100%, will die if you use a lethal weapon. However, that isn't a guarantee. For example, even during normal fighting, lethal weapons will sometimes fail to outright kill somebody. Even if it's a critical headshot. They'll go down obviously, but roll around as if you used non-lethal attacks on them. I'd say that happens like 20-30% of the time.

There used to be a cyberware mod that turned all weapons 'none-lethal', but that was removed together with all other cyberware mods in 2.00.
There still is the PAX, a weapon mod that turns one weapons 'none-lethal'.

A few tips regarding 'none-lethal' weapons and cyberpsychos.

'None-lethal' can totaly kill someone, they are actually more like 'less-lethal'.
Its also totaly possible to make a none-lethal takedown with a lethal weapon, its just much harder (or for normal guys: very unlikely to happen).

(Effectivly there is a small hp range between unconcious and dead. 'None-lethal' weapons simply deal less damage to unconcious targets, so its easier to stay in that range).

And for those psychos my go-to approach is:
Take down their health to 10-15% with whatever weapon works good on them. Can be lethal.
After that I switch to something none-lethal (either a gun with pax or simply a batton) and do very controlled strikes/shots. No button mashing! One hit, check the effect, wait to see if he needs another.
Stay clear of anything that invokes damage-effects, like bleeding, burning etc. These dont stop when the target is knocked out and are a sure way to kill.
