Go into Inventory, select the grenade, and optical camo should be an option, assuming you've had the chrome fitted at a ripper doc of course.
As far as I know, you can either have grenades, or optical camo, not both!
Well the poster above me was talking about grenades and ignored my actual question about the face plant implant. The face plate implant is currently installed at the same time as my optical camo implant. But the face plate implant quick key overides the use of the optical camo. I already knew that optical camo replaces grenades and that was not my question.
The confusion at my end was the fact that both implants are installed at the same time but one overides the other. But I'm glad I can deselect it when I'm done with the mission, so thanks for answering my question.
Readying your Armblades/Launchers could have easily been assigned to hold the melee button or something else instead of the general equipment button that's used for everything else. Why not have "throw grenade" on it's own independent key?
