Not getting a wanted level?

For whatever reason my crimes no longer have any consequences. I pancaked a few civilians, no wanted level. I even shot a cop who lived, no wanted level. Won't even engage me in combat lol

EDIT: Looked this up online and sleeping in the Japantown Apartment (idk if it has to be the Japantown apartment specifically, though I did read that V's base apartment doesnt work) fixes the problem. I'm unaware as to if this is a temporary or permanent fix.

EDIT 2: The Japantown sleeping only temporarily fixes it. I'm back to not getting wanted levels again.

EDIT 3: As of 10/5/23 CDPR patched this and things seem to be working properly again. This'll be my last update to this. Unsubscribing from the discussion. I hope things are working for those of you that commented as well.

I have the same problem. No wanted Level in Dog Town.

have the solution: kill on the main entrance to dog town everbody ... so you get this achievement

hey, so I had to reload a save before phantom liberty to fix the problem and start again while paying attention to any bugs that might pop up like the police system bug. everything good so far. police system working great.

I think the bug you are having is better than the one i'm having where if i jump from a distance and hurt myself and there is a police officer in a 5-10m radius i will gain 1 star and he will start shooting at me. Two times this has happened and there were no civs around me in order to damage them from my fall.

No dude that's not worse at all. Sounds like you are hurting the cop as you fall or just pissing them off that isn't even a bug. THERE IS A REAL BUG happening where some people can no longer obtain wanted level at all.

No dude that's not worse at all. Sounds like you are hurting the cop as you fall or just pissing them off that isn't even a bug. THERE IS A REAL BUG happening where some people can no longer obtain wanted level at all.

Whenever it happened to me nobody was close to me and if me hurting myself pissed of the cops then i doubt the AI programming.
