Save Vanished

Hello there

after patch 2.0 i had two manual saves , one new and one level 50 netrunner.
i think i lost my netrunner save after dlc install because i started the new one and i noticed that something is missing and i was wandering how to get back my save and if someone had the same problem ..

Saves are not vanishing. I have the game installed since day 1 it launched, never lost a save.
Somehow you overwritten it with a new save most likely, it happens

how is that even possible ??? if i was overwriting it then i should have two manual saves right ??? i only have one

Most likely you saved over it accidently.

Why I back up my saves. When I want to play another chracter I will move the save folder to my desktop so that the only saves the game sees are for the character I am playing.

It is too easy to accidently overwrite a save, they are not seperated by character they are all in one long list. I seperate them by character myself. Keeps accidents from happening keeps them neatly organized.

if you overwrite 1 save file you'll get 1 overwritten save file, dunno why you should get 2 save files from 1 lol

Mistakes happen, but the only way to lose a save is either delete your save folder (and not having cloud backup active) or overwriting it.

I can understand why you are upset, but this is really the first time i heard someone lost the save, so it's hardly a bug.

No if you accidently clicked on your 50 netrunner save when you went to save your new character there would be one manual save. The new one would over write the old one and leave you with 1 manual save.

Only way you would have 2 manual saves if you click new save.

Sounds like you accidently clicked on you 50 netrunner to save your new character. It happens.

Why I keep my saves seperated by character now and swap them in an out when I want to play different characters so something like this doesn't happen.

nobody said about one , two different chars two different saves , one lost , one remained .. just tested it , i have two manual saves from the same char

The saves were hacked, some Netrunner or something, the game is too real

thats the tricky part ...... i tested having two manual saves from the save char and it works ....the last days after DLC poped up i had ONE manual save so even by overwriting it still should have two different manual saves and there is only one so far thats my prob

i checked it last night , strangely i only have saves with thumbnails from the new char and not the old one

I've never had saves disappear, does anyone else have access to your machine?

Have you reset windows or turned off cloud saves? Maybe bypassed the launcher?

nope x3 , its very weird and i cant for the love of god get through this
