How should you build your character with 2.0
Given that it takes a good handful of points to unlock tiers in each respective category, is the ideal way to play is to focus on an few key areas instead of making a build that is good at multiple styles?

Reflexes I feel like is a requirement for anyone not doing a netrunner build. But even then, this game is gun/sword heavy regardless. You will need to shoot people no matter what even on a stealth run. Just tying to get a feel for how 2.0 is intended to be played.

Would like a do a primary sniper stealth build that can use assault and swords if things get messy, with netrunning proficient but mostly to augment primary style of assault stealth.

IMHO its better to be a master in 1 thing and then pick things that synergize with it than an jack of all trades that has no real focus.

For example if your primary is a sniper rifle there no reason to use reflex Melee or assault rifles and waste those points when you can switch to a pistol or revolver that uses the same tree as sniper rifles. Then take those saved points and get more cyberware in tech or survivability in body.

Pick up the major skills first as you unlock them and once all the major skills are taken you can choose the smaller perks connected to them.

The way they changed things in 2.0 though give you alot of freedom to pick and choose based on the situation.

The only tree I would argue is pretty mandatory for most builds is TECH.

The middle TECH tree increasing your Cyberware Capacity is pretty universally useful no matter what.

For a non-stealth combat oriented builds:

At least 15 Body for Adrenaline Rush (survivability)
At least 15 Reflexes for Air Dash (mobilty)
15 - 20 Tech for medicine recharge and Edgerunner (cyberware limit)
Leftover attribute points whatever you want

Also Biomonitor cyberware is highly recommend

Yeah, 15 Technical Ability seems pretty much required for every single build since Armor is entirely handled by cyberware now.

I'm splitting my points between Intelligence and Cool. It may not be the best way but I'm liking it.
