[SOLVED]Is Phantom Liberty (Dog eat dog) impossible to go loud on very hard?
EDIT 2: Youre def not supposed to do this but I did it anyway. I went for and killed all the guards at the gates of dogtown. Simply because I wanted to see if I could. I discovered an exploit and I also cheesed as hell to kill all those guards. I dunno how many but it seemed like some 25 stupid grunts, some good 15 elites, 2 mechs, 3 cars with 3 people inside with netrunners on each, I counted 7 guys on scaffolds, I manage to access 5 of those, 2 unreachable even with cyberlegs. Numbers are estimate rounded down, could be more.

How I did it: I simply jumped out of the main entrance next to a huge square building with a vendo machine in it. The ones that run after you are easily killed, and I started using their bodies to launch towards more groups of people. Sometimes enemies would get clustered into 15 or more in a single bubble. I used a single flashbang, bersek if at the front games cuz snipers could instakill me, even with biomonitor, specially when netrunners disable my cyberware, then quake for insta heal, as hitting more than 6 enemies equals 100% health, then launched meeself backwards for safety at the huge round square house.

The exploit: Since there was a vendor there and sometimes I was waiting for my cds to refresh, I went in and sold some trash loot. Only to realize selling stuff saves on combat. So I could save and do more risky manouvers and not loose all progress on this little stupid task I created for myself.

The weakness: I did not manage to kill everyone using only my fists/grenades. I used a rifle to kill a single pesky dude I wasnt able to reach that was using smart weapon to fire at me everytime. I got pissed and shot'im in the head 20 times in order to kill him.

The result: I earned mostly crappy craft components as all weapons seem to have broken into mush from all the explosions and fire going around everywhere and shockwaves and destruction. I did manage to earn some loot and gold but I guess leveling a whole level from 32 to 33 was alright I guess. A lot of time went into this useless endeavor. Dont do it. Learn from my mistake, just go through the damn garage and dont bat an eye on a single soul outside those gates.

EDIT: Here's my build currently: Gorilla Arms with Edgerunner perk, Adrenaline Rush & Blunt tree (without lvl 9 additive perks), around 700-800 armor with cyberwares, most skin & bones, with some circulatory ones to help with healing, like biomonitor and pump.

at the very first part, you need o sneak through the dumpster and the parking lot. Songbird asks you to go stealthy, but Im playin a run where I dont use stealth and go loud in every situation.

The game summons so many enemies, around 30, even the audio starts tearing up, and if Im not hiding behind that armored van I die instantly. I manage to kill around 20 guards before dying when they circle me and start dealing 400+dps to my life killing me instantly.

It seems pretty clear the game doesnt want me to go loud and is heavily punishing me for trying the "kill all the guards" route.

Has any1 went through this one?

Nope; skill issue, I run around with pistols and fists on very hard. I love how they added harder combat scenarios in PL.

Maybe the game doesnt want you to go loud, but it really wants me to go loud. :smasher:

Damn. I have 20 body and 20 tech, I use a flash grenade so I can blind crowds, and I have edgerunner, adrenaline rush and blunt weapon finisher builds. I was able to kill around 30 guards on my last try x.x

I am having a hard time when they all come along. I am like lvl 32 or 33, with some 150 cyberware points and around 700-800 armor. I think my damage per hit is around 150dmg

Very hard is meant for either...

1. OP meta builds.
2. A well rounded character and someone who >knows when to use what option<.

If you don't have one of those 2 things, your not going to have a good time. This is an RPG, not Diablo, you can't just say "ima do the same thing every single time and expect it to work" unless option 1.
