Also not required but useful to look at what that item is attuned to, like cool, or body etc, because you can get a little bonus from that stat bonus too.
I also look at armour, I tend to go for 3 of the biggest armour bonuses so I don't die, but then if you're stealth or have alot of life leaching, maybe you don't care about armour.
It's all basically a balancing act on cost of cyberware vs bonus you get back, as your limited on how much cyberware costs. Don't forget that if you want more cyberware still, you can even choose the perk that lets you go above the max.
There's too much variations to give you a definitive answer, it's what you find fun and benefits you the most really.
I have 1 tip for you though, sometimes you don't need to upgrade as vendor might be selling you an already upgraded version to what you have currently, so if you have tons of money but low on components, you could just buy the upgraded version and sell off your old one. If you do that, don't forget at some point to upgrade at least once so you get to choose the 3 bonus stats specific to your build.
Regardless u gave me some good info. Thanks alot bro!
You have X slots and then look at the stats and cost... think hard about if it is worth it,.. if yes, get it, if not, don't.
But @Caruth already did a great job of answering my question.
you can't have a 'playstyle' if you've never played the game... if you're going on the idea 'playstyle' developed from playing other 'similar' types of game... you've gone off the deep end...
the only way to develop a playstyle in this is to experiment and find out what you like/don't like regardless of watching the plethora of a waste of yt content on cyberware guides and CRAP. JUST BECAUSE YOU SEE SOMEONE PLAY AND LIKE HOW THEY PLAY DOES NOT MEAN YOU'LL BE ABLE TO PLAY THE SAME WAY REGARDLESS OF HOW INFORMATIVE/FORTHCOMING WITH THEIR BUILD.
there's enough latitude in this game you can have evolving tactics if you want. so the concept of 'playtyle' be damned.
a 'playstyle' LOCKS YOU INTO PLAYING THAT WAY THROUGH 99% of the game
don't listen to this fool and 'playstyle' vocabulary and short sighted delusional remedial thinking...
he/she just wants you to look up yt content to get money for whomever... doesn't matter who
if you can't understand how that works towards what tactics you should/want to attempt ...
START there regardless of all the 'bells and whistles' of all the cyberware ...
U both might be right. I'm guessing @Caruth meant by "playstyle" pretty much what u suggested - adapt based on the situation.
I played both The Division and The Division 2 twice, which have some of the best weapon and gear customization and core gameplay mechanics. So I'm getting that I might have to play through this game at least twice too since it's got similar character customization.
