Can't pick up Comrade's Hammer.

I keep reloading the save, because every time I try to loot it off the corpse it's on, it's not in my inventory, even though the little loot notification says I picked it up.
Anyone else having this problem? Are there any fixes?

I build the revolver and everytime I shoot the game is crashing. (no mods)
