To connect Steam with GOG you'll need to install a third party plugin from GitHub for it to work. The plugin that comes with GOG is outdated as the guy developing it initially has left the project.

I will link it but I'm not sure Steam will allow it, so in case you will have to look it up yourself you'll at least know what to look for.

Google for "ABaumher/galaxy-integration-steam 1.07". The version is important here and it should be the first hit.
