I have no idea what you're talking about. This thread has nothing to do with missing audio. I'm glad your issue has a workaround. But this is completely different, and regards the audio fidelity of the dialogue clips.
Most companies would send their actors professional grade equipment, and if they were really stingy they could've requested them to ship the mics back.
Honestly, that quest is when the audio actually sounded good the girl, Bill and the other guy had professional sounding audio. I think the NPCs were forced into the studio to record while the actors likely were allowed to do it from home.
