Yes i think they changed that. In the description of Kerenzikov stands: "dodging with Distance weapons..." afaik

I think they changed it because of the "storming" ability which you will use as melee build anyways.

Yea... the new description says this, but how could they change this when phrases are woven into the plot dialogues when V advises the coach to install Kereznikov for boxing. Rivals in the ring also use Kereznikov.

Well perhaps one of their testers play their game and report this not lore friendly thing to quest designers so they can edit that part out. Until then, you are a sandy user if you are on a melee build. OR you can still rock a kerez BUT the moment you switch out from a ranged to a melee, you will lose the effects. Good luck.

Nahh You better off with Berzerk. You legit wont die now. That couple with kills to reduce CD, second heart can come if it's too crazy but I've hardly died with Berzerk.
