Cyberpunk 2077 -> Properties -> Set Launch Options...
--launcher-skip

Once again, not annoyed with the crashes, what I AM annoyed with, is the fact the game came out 3-ish years ago, and there is no way to skip the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ text and splash logos at the start that you are forced to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sit through.
a 'clean reinstall' will not fix the unskippable intros.
requiring a third party mod for something like this is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke.
it's annoying but definitely not this serious my guy
We would assume most gamers know and understand that video is to hide the fact it's loading gigs of data underneath... if you disable it, you'd just get a loading screen and the same time til you can hit space and get to the main menu would elapse, and be just as annoying.
you don't need a mod per se, but if you have the CET framework installed, edit Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\config.json and set disable_intro_movies to true... at least that used to work, I let it play.
most of us just get by with %command% -launcher-skip -skipStartScreen -modded as our runtime parameters, but you kids do what you gotta, choombattas.
Maybe just speak for yourself instead of others. I agree with OP and there's no reason it should be like that.
Fallout 3 + New Vegas did the same thing. if you disable the videos it just displays a loading screen. That is the correct way to do it. There's no reason to do otherwise. We've had this figured out for decades but publishers try to get whatever they can out of us gamers and I don't think just being happy with it is the way to make things better, its just the easier way.
Correction: --launcher-skip -skipStartScreen (need to have two hyphens in front of launcher-skip, choombatta)
