Love 2.0 but the game needs more updates.
Whilst I'm a huge fan of Phantom Liberty and 2.0, the updates just kind of go to show what could be possible in this game with a bit more updates. Here's just two things that the game really still needs in my opinion.

1) Car contracts are great, and just go to show we really need more repeatable, random events to give you something to do and flesh out openworld exploration. I feel like an update that made repeatable gigs and NCPD contracts a thing would just be a huge bonus for the game. It doesn't need to be lore heavy, just random events on the map that give you repeatable content and add more to the world. It could be anything from intercepting a car involved in a kidnapping, uploading a virus without being noticed, and special contracts like assassinating someone in an area without killing or knocking out anybody else. Just small jobs with unique conditions to make you feel more like a merc and the world less empty.

2) Basic car customisation. We have the autofixer now, it really doesn't feel like it's too much of an ask. I'm not looking for GTAV level customisation, just the ability to respray cars a certain colour at the very least. In an ideal world, some custom decals you can unlock after doing certain things. i.e. Gang specific decals after doing all the NCPD missions in a district. But just being able to change the colour of cars is all I really want.

They keep saying this is the last update we get. But I really hope they just add these at the very least. Car contracts are great, but just feel like wasted potential for what could have been.

The modding community may be able to help with some of what you're saying. You could always try to learn to mod yourself. That's about the only option though.

They want to focus on a project with the internal name Orion which is basically a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and is being developed in a studio in Boston, America.

2.0 and Phantom Liberty are the last two major updates. Cyberpunk 2077 will still recieve techincal updates and bug fixes, but that's about it. It's now all hands on deck for the new Cyberpunk game.

So we are going to see a lot more of Cyberpunk by CDPR in the future. Which was expected, since Cyberpunk genre is a very populair genre.

Nah dude. they've spent too much money to let go of this game to just release one expansion and leave. it's much easier to make expansion than making a full game so they are probably gonna milk this game until it's dry.

While I would also enjoy more content instead of waiting for the sequel, it’s probably time to remember that it’s okay for a game to end. Not everything needs to be one of those “lifestyle” games that gets perpetual content updates.

OK, this is the last time I'm gonna say this. The devs have retired the RedEngine used to make Cyberpunk and are now using Epic's Unreal 5 (sorry Epic haters) engine for the new games they're working on. They can't afford to run two sets of devs using two different engines at the same time. They may have one guy in a sub-basement with the RedEngine loaded up on his PC trying to catch the last few bugs. Good luck with that.
