Cyberdeck buffer size bug (gamebreaking)

My cyberdeck buffer size is now stuck at 4, regardless what the other menus say. When I hit my inventory, its at 4, and worse, its remains at 4 whenever I hack access points. I'm already using a legendary cyberdeck with a buffer size of 12. It says 12 whenever I go to a ripperdoc when I install it, and when I change quickhacks, but when its all done and hit my inventory, it remains at 4. Tried to change and reinstall cyberdecks but the bug remains. I even tried to load up a different save file for a different playthrough with a cyberdeck, and the issue remains. This is just gamebreaking and I've spent over 70 hours now on this playthrough and I think I'll quit now.

What cyberdeck and lvl you're using? The biggest buffer I found was 8. Didn't you mistook the RAM amount with the buffer size?

I think I just ran into this same exact issue... Everywhere I look, menus say that my buffer size is five, but when actually hacking, it defaults down to four. I have tried reloading older saves where I am sure that it was five, but when I try hacking it's still four. I have no idea what is causing this and this is the only mention of anything like this I can even find.

...how is it game breaking, I didn't even notice. And who cares about the hacking mini game anyways... just gives you upgrade material that you can get by breaking down weapons and credits that you never run out of.

And as of quickhacks.. not a problem there either. The combat in this game is a joke. Tag + Tech weapon = easy mode. Stealth as well. Plus melee AI can't handle you sprinting around like a chicken without a head.
