Sell or dismantle weapons?

Pretty much the title. Also what do you think the best way to make money now in 2.0 if not selling?

Sell everything that is below purple for me....but it depends on your level and if you care about iconics and upgrading/crafting =)

Doing Side-gigs and NCPD stuff give lots of eddies.
I'd suggest dismantling stuff, if you want to level-up the engineering skill for perks (and getting those purple and orange upgrade stuff more quickly).

- You get better eddies selling rather than dismantling.
- In Phantom Liberty; Maybe collecting supply drops, & grabbing cars for Capitan Reyes. Both are repeatable, Both give you good loot rng, including cash shards. fallen enemies also rarely have the new cash shards on them. I've pulled 9k + 5k shards out of one of Capitan Reyes loot boxes, now I don't pay attention to what I get.
- I've so many Eddies in my old 300+ hr save that I dismantle everything. I started with over 10 mill eddies, ended up spending maybe 2-3ish mil maybe, buying the new Cars, clothing n stuff in Dogtown. dunno. I have about 8.5 ish mil now & don't think I'll ever spend much more. Kinda wish they sold some new properties or something. Like Vs end game mansions.

If you are planning to do gigs and NCPDs you can dismantle them although there aren't much you can craft unless you are going for a quickhack build. You can dismantle or sell most things since you'll likely stick to one weapon you find, like the Guts shotgun which you can get level 1 and use it for the rest of the game because no other shotgun comes close to it.

Yeah, as wraithverge said between side gigs and main mission you get a lot of eddies so you might just dismantle everything you're sure you're not getting the cash for and then upgrading those components to the next level, heck even buy junk and dismantle that too, at least around the start of the game I saw nothing worth of buying and had money for any ripperdoc visits I needed I'm still only on blue stuff so it might be different longer down the road but you can only use 3 weapons at a time and unless you can think of situations where you can use a fourth type of weapon I would just dismantle it based on DPS, kept the iconics though.
