Are quickhacks non-lethal now?
The descriptions used to indicate if they were or not, but I don't see that tag anymore. I don't want to accidentally kill any cyberpsychos when I am supposed to be saving them!

Short Circuit, Overheat, Contagion are all non-lethal, as is System Collapse and a few others where you can mix and match covert/control hacks together to incapacitate a target.

Be careful not to mix Overheat and Contagion together though, because that results in an explosion :D

If this is true then it isn't working 80% of the time. With my netrunner I killed so much people while using the old unleathel options it's not even funny.

So what's the consensus? I don't even know how to check this myself.

As far as I can see in my game - whether it is a bug or by design, and they just forgot to change the desctiptions - all the quickhacks, even Synapse Burnout, are now non-lethal.

Pretty simple.

Use any of the quickhacks mentioned and point your crosshair at the enemies knocked out on the ground. The crosshair will turn red, implying they're still alive.

idk man, i have been using lethal weapons to take down cyberpyshcos and the ones that needs to be kept alive still stay alive, otherwise they die.
Christ bless you and thanks I had the same question

Usually last hit leave them at 1%, i haven't killed all Cyberpsychos.
I think only blackwall gateway is lethal.

All quick hacks are LETHAL now. Tested with the monk mission, overheat, short circuit, and contagion etc… all lethal. Totally destroys the old way I was playing…

Not in my game. I only been using Overheat and Short Circuit but they have both been non-lethal. Enemies are left rolling around on the ground.

I have been sure that the hack is the only damage done. Not shooting at them at the same time, for instance.

Except for continuous effects (poison, overheat), no matter what you do during a Cyberpsycho fight, the last hit will always bring them down to 1%. They can have 2% health left, and if you headshot them with a sniper that does 40% of their life, it will still bring them down to 1%.

I've only ever killed one Cyberpsycho by mistake, and that was because I shot him while he was falling to the ground.

Yeah but my Overheat and Short Circuit Quickhacks don't kill regular bad guys either. They appear to be non-lethal by themselves.
