just* posted much the same thing.. - would have made more sense - and still giving the higher grade/"magic" clothing a point
Made zero sense that a t-shirt had an armor rating.
The pain is that you have to either go to a vendor or your house in order to change the wardrobe up. You only have 6 outfits you can create, too.
idk.. - there is armored clothing even now, one can find some clothing that, offers "armor" against some kinds of attacks, stab/slash/balstic ect...- maybe not t-shirts. but in another 50+ years one can kind of see high tech fibers/ballistic threads/weaves - giving some clothing an armor effect. - heck a "bullet proof jacket" is really just a well jacket..
still - even given that - cutting armor from clothing.. isnt a huge deal - its just - for me - whats the point for the different grades of clothing? ooo. i look soo cool on my char/inventory screen. sweet.
Yeah, the key word here being armored clothing. Again, a t-shirt having an armor rating was ridiculous.
Tiered clothing exists so you can have more things to disassemble for the crafting resources.
Except they clearly forgot the wardrobe feature already made it so you could choose fashion without sacrificing stats.
Not that fashion matters in a game where you never see your character because they backed out of adding a 3rd person camera.
You can now run arround naked and laugh about the lazyness of the devs that left all the names of clothing the old way and for some even with the explenation why they are so protective :D . It was a stupid choice because there was a wardrobe system and everyone was able to put on everything. Now we need to pick at least 800ish armor on very hard to have a good time with a non regen build. it's stupid.
