just* posted much the same thing.. - would have made more sense - and still giving the higher grade/"magic" clothing a point

Clothing is crafting materials and cosmetics now.

Made zero sense that a t-shirt had an armor rating.

Of the total time played on this game by all players, I'd say about 30% of it is photo mode and fashion shoots. Thats why clothes have no bonuses but are still important.

You can set a wardrobe for how you want to look so it overrides anything you put in the slots.

The pain is that you have to either go to a vendor or your house in order to change the wardrobe up. You only have 6 outfits you can create, too.

idk.. - there is armored clothing even now, one can find some clothing that, offers "armor" against some kinds of attacks, stab/slash/balstic ect...- maybe not t-shirts. but in another 50+ years one can kind of see high tech fibers/ballistic threads/weaves - giving some clothing an armor effect. - heck a "bullet proof jacket" is really just a well jacket..

still - even given that - cutting armor from clothing.. isnt a huge deal - its just - for me - whats the point for the different grades of clothing? ooo. i look soo cool on my char/inventory screen. sweet.

Yeah, the key word here being armored clothing. Again, a t-shirt having an armor rating was ridiculous.

Tiered clothing exists so you can have more things to disassemble for the crafting resources.

I don't have this issue since I always see my character on my Yaiba Kusanagi :)
Disassemble clothes for materials to upgrade implants and weapons

mostly yes but I like it being cosmetic only more tbh

One would think the body armours would have some armour state but they'er weak to what you can give to skin armour mods

They said they made clothing have no stats so that you can choose fashion without sacrificing stats.
Except they clearly forgot the wardrobe feature already made it so you could choose fashion without sacrificing stats.

Not that fashion matters in a game where you never see your character because they backed out of adding a 3rd person camera.

Netrunner clothing is worthwhile. The suite for dr against quikchacks and the face options for faster quickhack uploading. Everything else is trash! 25 more armor? What a joke if you run arround with 800+. 4% hp item cd... yeah that's not even a second. less melee dmg taken? With enough armor and HP reg you are immortal anyway even if 20 enemies hit you in melee. Faster reload?8% iirc... what a bad joke.

You can now run arround naked and laugh about the lazyness of the devs that left all the names of clothing the old way and for some even with the explenation why they are so protective :D . It was a stupid choice because there was a wardrobe system and everyone was able to put on everything. Now we need to pick at least 800ish armor on very hard to have a good time with a non regen build. it's stupid.

for me this is better. Cloths are cosmetics, armours give some armour rest is cybernetic. 100% better than before where shirt give 50 aromur :steamfacepalm:
