Balls to the wall quest issue

After taking the second "deep dive" hit the quest just freezes the game at a black screen. I can still see my afterburner osd fluctuating its numbers, so the game isn't completely frozen, but the quest won't continue, and I can't get to the main menu. I have to close the game (alt+f4), and restart it to get back to playing. Anyone know a workaround? Just play other quests and try again later maybe?

i get not much farther then that, get past the load screen and have to fight some goons, but it seems like they dont all spawn, so the mission just freezes and you cant really do anything.

Well good news is that the balls to the wall quest is no longer available after completing the you know my name quest, so I guess that is is a good thing as it was glitched out anyways.
