how to keep playing after dlc?

i just finished Phantom Liberty and after the credits when i press continue the game put me in a last mission when you have to leave Victor's clinic so how do I get back to the open world?

Delete your save file & start over after you finished the game......

Just to be sure, you didn't get sent to just outside Embers after doing the new endings? Have you a save in there which has V stood leaning on a railing outside Embers?

no, i finished phantom libertys last main quest and after the credits when i click continue the game put me in the very last moment of DLC ending and there is no option to go back to open world, the only thing i can do it to load save before the "point of no return"

and its kinda weird because there are like 4 different achievements for different Phantom Liberty Endings and there is no such thing as repeat the last chain of story missions just like in the base game.. so.. i must wait i guess..

same for me , i finish the dlc and my last save is at vic , i can reload a older safe sure but looks like the devs didn't really thing this a lot

there is no solution the game ends if you do THAT mission, there is no free roam after this mission, do not do the mission, load a save before and do a main game ending

the game ends in phantom liberty if you choose one of the endings, just choose another one and keep playing till the end with Johnny

This is for what I consider the main ending in PL
I don't understand how some people can't figure it out because it's so simple and obvious. When you finish all the Phantom Liberty quests, make a save BEFORE CALLING REED.
BUT DO NOT MAKE THE PHONE CALL TO REED SAYING YOU ARE READY FOR THE CURE. Instead go back into the main area of Night City to pick up where you left off and finish the game. It's that simple.

It is easier if you play thru the main game and have done all the main game endings first. Then you can just start PL from right outside Embers, and when you finish PL you are completely done with the game.

Knock off the BS there's solutions and always have been. But people want to be stupid and then cry about it. If by the time you reach the end of Phantom Liberty you haven't figured out that you should be saving often, that's on you. That is ONE SOLUTION.
SOLUTION TWO - If you are too simple minded to realize it, you can just load the save outside Embers if you got that far.
