Calling your car?

Anyone else notice how when you call your car, you only get one charge? I press the button, car comes rolling along, no issues, but then 20 minutes later due to either roaming around or chasing cops on my ass, I try to find my car, its gone, I try calling it and the button does not work.

Yea same here, but how do I access my car if I cannot call it?

It happens on 2 occasions:
1. Your car is close by, so it won't call it again. You have to move further away.
2. Your car got destroyed and it is on cooldown. If you hold V and look at it, it will have "Repairing" over its image.

Yeah hold V to check it, if it's destroyed you might wanna change the active vehicle =)

Mine stopped working yesterday..

Have 4 vehicles at the moment and none of them will call.. will check again today but assume its just broken now gone to far to roll back to a previous save.. so ill just be stealing cars on the street instead.

This happens to me frequently. One thing to try is save the game, then exit, restart, and load the save. Vehicles might work again at least for a while. Reloading without restarting the game does not clear the problem.

Been playing for a few more hours, seems like nothing will fix the calling for your car except to save, quit to menu, and reloading your save.

After doing that, it usually works for about an hour or so, seems to bug out randomly, I'll try to keep a closer eye on whats causing the bug.

Little tip (assuming your vehicle call button is working of course).

If you are near a road, and hit jump, and then tap the call button while still in mid air, the vehicle insta drops on the road in front of you, rather than say 100m away and then needs to drive towards you.

Yup, saw it on one of those 'Top tips/hidden feature' type videos for CP on YouTube.

I thought, "nah, that can't be true!", so I loaded up, fast-travelled somewhere random, hit jump then V and boom, the car just appeared instantly in front of me!

Doesn't always work 100%, but it works for me probably 80% of the time.

Yes, seen this. Definitely a bug and a save and reload works to fix it for me.

Not sure what the cause is but had tentatively thought it was after I had stolen a car and then wanted to call one of my owned vehicles after abandoning the stolen one. This may be an erroneous assumption though as I often steal cars for convenience!

When 2.0 came out I had a real issue with this. Idk what happened but at some point it just stopped. Now pressing V works 90% of the time, and I can actually spawn my car in the same area several times in a row sometimes. Kind of odd. Not sure at what point it stopped exactly. Somewhere around the 5th-6th car I got and when I got well into the expansion and the rest of the game. Maybe it will fix itself at some point. Could be why they did not catch the glitch.
