As for quickhacks, just make sure to take the 4 int perk that highlights nearby access points- those are the best source of quickhacks. Takes some time to get really going, but by level 25 you basically don't need a gun on Normal.
Netrunners are basically the mages/wizards of the game now with 2.0 where as before they were basically the "stealth archers" you can still stealth but it takes a bit more thought and planning. The good hacks are basically going to depend on the situation.
For the most part your damage hacks are Contagion+Overheat for groups of enemies, Cyberware Malfunction+Short Circuit for single target.
Cyberware Malfunction and Reboot optics are easily two of the best quickhacks in the game IMO easy stuns, just keep tier 2 reboot optics as it much less than the other tiers and the other tiers give nothing good unless you want to use Smart Weapons a lot.
Ping is always helpful for tagging enemies to plan out your attacks
Detonate Grenade and Suicide are also pretty decent they are initially expensive to use but have ways to reduce the cost significantly.
Just keep in mid Netrunning is COMPLETELY different since 2.0 the typical just stealth and spam the same 1-2 quick hacks to insta kill enemies is much more difficult to do as enemies can trace you now and some quick hacks rely more on comboing quickhacks rather than just using w/e is the strongest
how can i get a bunch of early game money for cyberware and stuff thogh?
Money isn't hard to get at all. What is hard to get is large stockpiles of crafting components, which you'll want if you want to get ahead of the curve. e.g. at level 24 I've already got a tier 4 cyberdeck, which doesn't go on sale until level 30+. Thus, the problem here wasn't cash, but of hoarding enough components for the upgrades (meaning not blowing them on, say, upgrading iconic weapons or other cyberware as soon as I could).
But just *play the game* and you'll accumulate money, components, etc.
At least for rarity, it's just level. I confirmed this for myself when 2.0 came out by just editing my player XP and checking vendors.
crafting components on the other hand, oof big grind
Im hoping the scrapyard type dealers sell them
Only in the form of junk for you to buy and scrap.
Quickhack vendors sell quickhack crafting components, but no vendor in NC (well, maybe Dogtown, I haven't checked there yet) sells crafting components as-is anymore as far as I'm aware.
So I'd say don't sell ANYTHING. Scrap it all. You desperately need crafting components, because you can't put T2 quickhacks in a T1 or T1+ deck. It has to be a T2 or higher deck. And this goes all the way up.
And to improve your deck, you need those components, and a lot of them.
So go to work and scrap EVERYTHING. The faster you get the components, the faster you can upgrade your deck, which will let you use better hacks, letting you get more components in a cycle of doom that culminates in everything you don't like going POOF.
also i suggest disassemble stuff, as you can use the components to upgrade your cyberware. which give better stats. also you need legendary tier cyberdeck to use legendary quickhack. too
building netrunner is easy. sonic shock plus quick hack, you can wipe out whole enemy team without tracing back to you. but it get boring fast. i like to use netrunner with smart SMG. it shred enemy fast and fun
Buy them. Then use your resources to upgrade them.
Hack enough access points and you'll get quite a few quickhacks for free, for what it's worth. Tier 1 reward is just eurodollars, Tier 2 reward gives you quickhack crafting components, but Tier 3 reward gives you quickhack crafting diagrams and/or quickhacks.
it was like that before.... but in 2.0 you can only craft higher level quickhacks... no long able to upgrade them like before.... so have to rely on gathering quickhacking components a lot more if you wanna go crafting route... but the schematics for crafting them cost cheap i believe....
you can also craft lower level quickhack components into higher level ones like regular components though...
