Go to settings and mute the soundtrack/music under Audio then play your own music while playing with the game

Yeah this would be great. Or at least allow a Spotify option

i like the music that plays outside of the characters hearing, like the combat music and a lot of the instrumentals. however I don't believe any of the radio stations are that good. the music seems to be bland for even these times. you can only imagine how transformed music would be in 54 years from now so you might as well try transformative music from our time and branch from that. So what i'm going for is to keep the proper soundtrack and just drop the in game radios for something that i would like to think is more accurate

There's a mod called RadioEXT that lets you add your own music tracks or prefabbed radio stations to the game. if you have music you like better, perhaps this is the answer. Some of the prefab stations available on Nexusmods is quite good, IMO.

You may have to wait a bit to take advantage of this...most mods are in a state of chaos being updated for Upgrade 2.0.

I vehemently disagree but to each their own I guess. I hope you find what you're looking for all the same.
